UPDATES

2011: Planet Care/GHAP has joined forces with Foundation for the People of Burma! We're working together as Community Partners International (www.cpintl.org).

Our work continues to focus on strengthening the well-being of communities in crisis in and around Burma, through training and technical support for local partners providing health, public health, and education services, capacity building, and resource enhancement.

Planet Care/Global Health Access Program was founded to improve the well-being of communities in crisis, both locally and internationally, through the provision of health and public health services, capacity building, and resource enhancement.

Planet Care/GHAP is now the health branch
of Community Partners International.

  • Vitamin A for one infant for one year, reducing chance of death by 35% ($0.09)
  • Deworming medicine for one child for one year, reducing malnutrition and improving cognitive function ($0.22)

  • Medicine to prevent a woman from bleeding to death after delivery ($1.88)
